Getting started & accounts
What can I do with Nomora?
Discover restaurants, browse menus and dish photos, and find places that suit your taste. In the app you can also contribute photos, collect credits and ask Nomi for suggestions. Restaurant owners can manage their restaurant through the owner dashboard.
Link to this answerDo I need an account?
You can browse public restaurant menus on the website without signing in. Personal features and contributions in the app, as well as restaurant management, require an account. Use the sign-in method you originally registered with.
Link to this answerHow do registration and sign-in work?
Create your account in the app or through restaurant registration on the website. Follow the confirmation steps shown there, then sign in. Creating an account does not automatically give you access to a restaurant: you must claim it separately.
Link to this answerI forgot my password or cannot sign in. What should I do?
For an email/password account, use Forgot password. If you registered using a sign-in provider, use that same provider. Check your email address and use the latest recovery link. If the problem continues, contact support with the error message, never your password or verification code.
Link to this answerWhy has my confirmation email or code not arrived?
Check your spam folder and the address you entered. Wait briefly before requesting another message and use only the newest code or link. If it has expired, restart the relevant confirmation step. Contact support if delivery keeps failing.
Link to this answerDo I have to share my location?
Location access helps you find nearby restaurants. You can also search for a city or restaurant yourself. Manage location, camera and photo permissions in your device settings; grant only the access needed for the feature you want to use.
Link to this answerWhy can I not find a restaurant or menu?
Coverage is still growing. Try the restaurant name and city, check active filters and look for the correct branch. A restaurant listing may exist before a digital menu is available. Send support the name, address and restaurant website if something is missing or duplicated.
Link to this answerRestaurant claims & management
What does it mean to claim a restaurant?
A claim connects an existing restaurant listing to an authorised owner or representative. Start with Claim restaurant, select the correct location, enter your contact details and complete the verification steps. Registration, restaurant access and the restaurant verification badge are separate steps.
Link to this answerMy claim is pending, rejected or already taken. What now?
Follow the status and next steps shown in the claim flow. If another account already manages the restaurant, or your authority needs clarification, contact support with the restaurant name, address and your role. Do not create duplicate listings or accounts to bypass verification.
Link to this answerWhere do I edit restaurant information?
After obtaining access, open the dashboard and select the restaurant. Use the relevant sections for restaurant details, opening hours, menus, photos and available reservation settings. Save your changes and check the public restaurant view afterwards.
Link to this answerHow does my restaurant become verified?
Claiming establishes who can manage the restaurant. The restaurant verification checklist additionally checks its content: a digital menu, verification of all top-level menus, at least five food photos and three atmosphere photos. Uploaded menu images alone do not count as a digital menu. Follow the current checklist in the app.
Link to this answerHow do I handle multiple locations or a change of owner?
Select and manage each location separately so menus, photos and subscriptions belong to the right restaurant. Use available team invitations instead of sharing your password. For disputed access or an ownership change, contact support before removing access or creating a new claim.
Link to this answerPhotos, uploads & rules
Which photos can I contribute?
Choose the correct restaurant and upload recent, useful menu, food or atmosphere photos through the available upload action. Food photos must show the actual dish; menu pages must be readable. Only upload content you created or have permission to share. See the upload rules.
Link to this answerHow do I assign a food photo to the right dish?
In the owner dashboard, upload the menu first, then choose the matching dish when uploading a food photo. If dishes are not yet available, enter the dish name where offered to help with menu creation. Website dish images currently have a 5 MB limit. Check restaurant, dish and variant before submitting.
Link to this answerA photo shows the wrong dish. Can it be corrected?
Note the restaurant, photo and intended dish. Use the available photo controls in your owner dashboard for content you manage. For community photos or an assignment you cannot change, report the issue or send support the restaurant link and a precise explanation. Do not upload duplicates as a workaround.
Link to this answerWhy did my upload fail or disappear?
Check your connection, photo permissions, supported file type and the size limit shown in the uploader. Review its status before trying again. Uploads may be checked automatically or manually and can be rejected or removed for quality, relevance or rule violations. Contact support if you believe a decision is wrong.
Link to this answerWhat must not appear in uploads?
Do not upload faces, minors, private documents, payment details or other personal or confidential information. Avoid spam, misleading edits and unrelated or unlawful content. Check the whole image, including the background, before submitting. Food photos must represent real dishes.
Link to this answerCredits, rankings & Nomi
How do I earn credits?
Useful contributions, such as eligible menu and food or atmosphere photo uploads, can earn credits. Open the credits section in the app to see your balance, activities and current rewards. The amount actually awarded and the current daily limit are shown in the app; not every upload automatically earns credits.
Link to this answerWhy am I missing credits, or why were credits removed?
Check the contribution’s upload or moderation status and whether you reached the daily limit. Rejected or removed contributions can lead to reversed credits. Refresh your credits view and contact support with the activity and approximate time if the balance still looks wrong. Do not resubmit the same photo to earn additional credits.
Link to this answerHow do user rankings work?
User rankings compare community contributions through credits. Your position depends on the selected ranking region and other participants’ activity. Check your selected city or region in the ranking view. These rankings are separate from restaurant ratings and restaurant search results.
Link to this answerWhy does the order of restaurant results change?
Restaurant results depend on the search, location and available restaurant information. Some discovery surfaces can also consider restaurant subscription benefits or featured placements. A position in the results is not a guarantee of quality and is separate from the community credit ranking.
Link to this answerWhat can I ask Nomi?
Nomi is Nomora’s AI assistant for restaurant discovery. Describe the city, cuisine, budget or occasion you have in mind and ask follow-up questions. Suggestions depend on the available information. Check restaurant details yourself; an AI answer is not a reservation confirmation.
Link to this answerCan I rely on Nomi for allergens, prices or opening hours?
Nomi and automatically processed menus can make mistakes or use outdated information. Confirm allergens, ingredients, current prices and opening hours directly with the restaurant. Do not enter sensitive personal information in chat.
Link to this answerSubscriptions & reservations
Which subscriptions are available?
Personal Free/Pro access and restaurant subscriptions are separate. The owner app currently offers Premium; the plans available to you are shown in your dashboard. A restaurant plan applies to the selected restaurant; it does not automatically upgrade your personal account. Feature access can differ during testing. Check the current plan comparison and checkout for included features, price and billing period.
Link to this answerHow do I manage or cancel a subscription?
Use the subscription management for the account or restaurant concerned. Manage an Apple or Google purchase in that store; use the customer portal for a web purchase. Check renewal and cancellation details there. Deleting the app, account or restaurant claim does not automatically cancel a store-managed subscription.
Link to this answerI paid, but my plan is not active. What should I do?
Check that you are signed into the correct Nomora account and, for restaurant plans, have selected the right restaurant. Use Restore purchases where available and verify the purchase with the original store account. Do not buy a second subscription to fix this. Contact support with the purchase reference and platform, without payment card details.
Link to this answerIs a reservation request already a confirmed booking?
No. A request is only confirmed once the restaurant accepts it. Check its response and the details before your visit. Reservation options depend on the restaurant’s settings and availability. For urgent changes or cancellations, contact the restaurant directly.
Link to this answerPrivacy, reporting & support
How do I report content or appeal a moderation decision?
Use the reporting action where available or email support@nomora.app. Include the restaurant or content link, the affected photo or menu and a clear reason. For an appeal, explain which decision you want reviewed. Send only the information needed to understand the issue.
Link to this answerWhere can I manage privacy and cookies?
Manage app permissions in your device settings and use Cookie settings in the website footer to change optional website consent. Read the Privacy Policy for data processing and contact options. Optional analytics and marketing consent is not required for the website’s core functions.
Link to this answerHow do I delete my account?
Use account deletion in the app settings or follow the account deletion instructions. Restaurant ownership must be removed before deleting the account. Check and cancel any active subscriptions separately through the original store or customer portal. Review the deletion notice before confirming.
Link to this answerHow do I get help with a technical problem?
Use Help & Support in the app or email support@nomora.app. Tell us what you tried, what happened, your device/browser and app version, and the affected restaurant link if relevant. A screenshot with private information removed helps. Never send passwords, login codes or payment details.
